Rock the motherfucking Bells
I'm there! Get your tickets, March 31 at 10 AM
Update: Life is funny sometimes. Back when I was in middle school or just starting high school Wu Tang Clan release Triumph. I really liked to song and one day saw that Wu tang was playing nearby with some band called "Rage Against the Machine". I was like bfffff, whatever, I want to see Wu Tang but fuck this machine band. I never saw that concert.
Fast forward 3 years to the point in my life where I'm literally listening to one of the rage albums every day. I see that Rage is coming to the Gorge with a different rap group, the Beastie Boys. Naturally I'm like Fuck Yeah! Rage, but bfffff, Beastie Boys, whatever. I was going to buy tickets but then Mike D broke his shoulder and the tour was cancel. Rage broke up 6 months later.
Fast forward to my Sophomore year in college. I'm in Italy, a land where hip hop is referred to as "Black Music". I bring 3 albums with me, none of which I've ever listen to before: Blackalicious - NIA, The Coup - Party music, and Wu Tang Clan - Enter the 36 chambers. Needless to say I picked some damn fine albums. Having only 3 hip hop albums to listen to I soon fell in love with Wu Tang and specifically the 36 chambers. I decide Wu Tang is more than just "Triumph".
Fast Forward to today. I find out that I can now make up for the mistakes of my past and see the original concert I passed on, Wu Tang and RATM together with a host of other hip hop headliners. All I can say is FUCK YEAH!
